PRIVATE-BETA RULES / VERSION 1

Forum rules for source-aware discussion

These rules apply to threads, replies, profiles, reports, and use of Community Notes.

1. Make claims inspectable

Separate observed facts, reported claims, analysis, and opinion. Link primary sources when practical, include dates, and correct material errors. Do not present an AI-generated Community Note as final authority.

2. No harassment or dehumanization

Challenge arguments, conduct, institutions, and policies, not a person’s identity or right to exist. No threats, slurs, targeted abuse, stalking, dogpiling, or celebration of civilian harm.

3. Protect people and operations

No doxxing, private personal data, live tactical locations, instructions that facilitate violence, or sensitive details that could put civilians, crews, responders, or service members at risk.

4. Keep the signal clean

No spam, impersonation, deceptive editing, coordinated manipulation, repetitive promotion, plagiarism, or knowingly fabricated evidence. Stay reasonably on topic.

5. Respect the source

Use short excerpts and links instead of reproducing paywalled or copyrighted material. Label graphic or disturbing content; uploads are disabled in phase one.

6. Report; do not retaliate

Use the report control once and add useful context. False or retaliatory reports may be restricted. Moderators may hide, restore, lock, warn, suspend, or dismiss, with an internal audit note.
